I found Fort Hood to be a large and very well commanded fort with different types of soldiers rotating from all over the world from combat zones. The soldiers have to adjust to each other, and sometimes that is difficult, but Fort Hood commanding officers in particular, my sergeants and lieutenant colonel‘s got the job done.
I always see this place from Highway 36 whenever I'm approaching Gatesville, and it's really cool seeing military vehicles and the barracks there. To the soldiers there, thank you for your service.
It should have been named after a hero,my husband ,R.i.p cpl.Ronnie g madore jr.
I once had to use a stud finder in fort hood to check where I could hang up a picture for the military. The thing kept going off because of all the bodies stuffed in the walls. It's all good because after years of therapy I'm finally able to use a stud finder again... But not in fort hood.
People that served and want to continue working on the premises should be accommodated with hours that work for them! Some have kids and need this support! They served and put their lives on the front line while deployed to dangerous parts of the world! No soldier is to be left behind whether active or not!!
I actually like it here. Call me one of the minorities that does
